[Blog] reading time..

some time back a fan asked if i read Cecelia Ahern’s “Where Rainbows End”.. well yes, i have. it’s a pretty easy read.. more like reading email correspondences.. however i still love the story.. i like the concoction of the romantic mixed with a little fairy tale.. well, that’s me..

there’s another book i just finished.. and this one made me tear.. something that truly reflects strength in adversity.. and the power of love. there is also a link we can all visit and that’s www.thelastlecture.com. i guess when you all read the book or visit the website, you will feel what i feel.. life is precious.. just how are we going to live our last moments?

this is my latest mag cover.. Simply Her.. well.. this is simply me..

to me, dance is an amazing emotional outlet and my very first exposure to the “performative” aspect. right up to this moment, it still remains my first love..
well.. i hope everyone likes the photos inside.. =)

this is a piece of good news..
i actually made an entry on this in my chinese blog.. but i guess blogspot was the actual link when the voting was ongoing. i’m not so sure if it makes any difference, be it the english or chinese blog, since i’m still the one responsible for the entries.. =)

however, i would still like to thank everyone who voted.. thank you to those who left very encouraging messages for me, because that makes me happy and grateful that i have a chance to express myself the way i like to. if it’s anything that matters to me.. it’s the ability to say it the way i want, and the way i feel.. rather than the way i think it should be said..

there.. i’ve said it haven’t i? =)

拍【小娘惹】 欧萱：痒！

【小娘惹】如火如荼拍摄中，欧萱、姚玟隆同个屋檐下拍戏，天天被烟熏，搞得两人不管是开心、难过都“热泪盈眶”；欧萱祸不单行，皮肤敏感起红疹，导致全身痒！

年度重头剧【小娘惹】已经开拍，男女主角欧萱、姚玟隆也正式展开9天“同居”生活。

和以往的戏剧不同，姚玟隆的“家”并不建在摄影棚内，布景组特别在新传媒篮球场旁边的一块空地上搭建了一间木屋。虽然是临时布景，但是里面一应俱全，要什么有什么，还有大灶头可以生火煮饭、做糕点呢！

本网站在上周五（7月18日）特别现场探班，了解两人的“同居生活”。

拍摄现场门窗紧闭，拍摄的时候还有工作人员在一旁焚香，制造气氛，空气又闷又热，俨然是个小型烘炉。我们不过在里面待了2、3小时，就大汗淋漓，走出来之后全身都是浓烈的烟味。

欧萱最惨，由于室内空气不流通，灰尘满天飞，自开拍之后她就全身起了红疹，痒翻天，苦不堪言！

她说：“我很爱干净，很怕脏，因为我的皮肤敏感。其实我身上都长满了红疹，很痒很痒很痒。这里的灰尘多，加上拍摄时会燃香，很闷很热……第一天是在外面，有风。后来移师到屋子里拍摄，屋子里烟雾弥漫，很热，身体很粘腻，脏东西都粘在皮肤上，导致我的皮肤敏感。”

“如果衣服有蕾丝就会很痒，痒一来，开始的时候只是脖子的部位，后来身体也开始痒，现在连腿都痒。哈。”

哇，怎么忍啊？
“还好啦。痒的时候就会一直cut，因为一直在抓痒，很不雅观。哈。其实大家都在忍，我觉得最辛苦的是工作人员，他们要提着焚香的桶，会直接薰到眼睛……有些场面要煮菜，负责起火的也是他们。我们是等大家准备好了才就位，要拍的时候他们才放烟。我平时出外景，太热、流太多汗，也会痒。可能这次烟、灰尘比较多，所以我的反应比较大。哈。”

开工之后，剧组和演员都马不停蹄地赶戏。欧萱身为主角，还一人分饰两角，每天忙忙忙，根本没有时间看医生。

她说：“有时候早上六点半就要化妆了，一直拍到晚上10点多，有一次甚至拍到凌晨3点才离开，不过睡了一个多小时，6点多又要到电视台化妆、开工……我担心红疹蔓延到脸上，前几天只是身体，昨晚发现连大腿都起了红点。”
关于拍戏期间所经历的苦，她笑着轻描淡写，听在耳里，却让人感到心疼，不管多难受，她都自己扛下，没有抱怨，也不趁机投诉、撒娇。

这部戏，除了烟，还有火！
欧萱烟里来，火里去，练就了金刚之身。
有一场戏，诉说欧萱在厨房煮饭，煮着煮着，她转身忙着其他事情，厨房着火了。

她说：“我们在场景有一场煮东西着火的戏，整个摄影棚都是烟，很多很多烟，门都是关着的，空气很糟糕，每个人都戴上了口罩。那是我第一次在摄影棚里戴口罩。哈。烟很呛、很薰，眼睛很痛。”

“拍戏的时候都会用烟，加上窗口和门都关着，所以整间房子都是烟，眼睛很痛，就算是拍开心的戏，眼里还是有泪的。哈哈。可是没有办法，要慢慢习惯。就算回到家洗澡的时候，可以闻到一阵很浓的烟味，洗不掉的，隔天又重新再来一次。（觉得自己像一条烟熏鲑鱼?）哈哈哈！对。”

男主角姚玟隆怎么说？
“忍，就是忍咯。分分秒秒那些烟就在身边绕来绕去，烟熏到眼睛，流眼泪的话，就NG，再来一次咯。有时候表情应该是很气的，但是烟正好飘过，眼睛被熏了一下，可能会突然讲不出话、流泪……我最喜欢的地方是户外，走出门口，就会发现空气真的是太清新了。哈。”
“这房子其实建得挺不错的，很有家乡甘榜风味，我最喜欢的角落是大厅，够大够宽，有很多舒服的椅子，坐椅子上，然后把门打开，让风吹进来，感觉挺凉爽的。”

外一章： 槟榔初体验！
戏剧开拍前，【小娘惹】一众主要演员齐聚一堂，上课咯！剧组特别邀请娘惹专家Richard为演员上课，除了学习仪态、礼俗、文化等，还要学习如何用手抓饭吃、玩娘惹桥牌；男艺人学习怎么包沙龙，女艺人则要穿上娘惹服、绣珠鞋。不过最有趣的是看到两位公主吃槟榔的模样！

欧萱 初尝“辣”滋味
一众艺人围着大桌子，学着用手抓饭吃。欧萱和白薇秀被大家怂恿，各自吃了一颗槟榔。欧萱初尝槟榔滋味，才放入口中咀嚼几下，脸部瞬间暴红，她立刻把槟榔吐出来，猛灌了不少开水，脸上的“热气”却怎么也没退，让现场所有人笑翻天。

她说：“刚放进去时，很干很难吃，明伦告诉我要咀嚼，让它和口水融合一起，汁就会出来。（味道如何？）刚嚼下去感觉很苦，跟口水融合后，却很辣。现在我的舌头还有点麻痹，就是因为这样我的脸才会立刻红起来。”

感觉就像吃Wasabi一样吗？
她说：“Wasabi是直冲上脑的，槟榔的‘热’是从里面散发出来，一直到我的耳朵，我的耳朵很热。我嚼不多，吃多了应该会很high……拍戏的时候会用红色的梅子来代替，要不然我想们拍不了戏了。哈哈。”

白薇秀 会high啊！
和欧萱比较，白薇秀的反应还算“正常”，没有脸红也不用猛喝水。

她说：“吃了槟榔后有一点微醺的感觉，就像平时我喝酒之后，会变得很安静，不想说话……现在就是这种感觉。槟榔的口感有点苦，吐出来之后，舌头有点麻，所以我了解为什么有些人会上瘾，因为我刚刚吃了，现在很想再吃。”

第一次用手抓饭吃，白薇秀觉得很好玩，她说：“这是我第一次用手抓饭吃，本来觉得很难，以为会一边吃饭粒一边掉，试过了之后觉得还好。不过我想该把指甲剪短，也不要把指甲涂得黑黑的（指甲油），我觉得用手抓饭吃很亲切，有一家人的感觉。”

[Blog] 忙碌中的点点滴滴

现在才发现我没提起开镜仪式
分享一些当天的照片吧

和“妈妈”向云姐聊天
不知道聊什么。。
我在干嘛?

今天又收了我第二个景，也就是刘一刀的家
在这个“家”里大概花了两个礼拜
在一个木屋里拍，还放了大量的烟
导致皮肤过敏，全身痒了起来
昨天终于有时间去看医生
现在得吃药和敷药，希望能够控制痒处

拍下了长满红疹的手臂
身体都有,希望红疹不会蔓延到我的脸部

看一下我这些花的头饰
前后完全变了样！

为了保护自己
口罩也买了。。

我mummy煮的凉茶。。
我助理的mummy也准备凉茶给我们

连服装间的同事也担心我的状况
还特地准备一些新鲜芦荟让我敷身体
有那么多人的照顾，一定很快好起来的

[Blog] clutter free

today, i decided that i should just slowly clear out all my clutter.. old clothes.. shoes.. spoilt stuff that i couldn’t bear to part with previously.. for one, it took me a long time to cajole myself that i should throw my ancient ballet shoes away. but of course.. it wasn’t reason enough for me to get rid of the whole lot..

something that really had to go – my jazz shoes. it’s so old and worn out that even the soles are coming apart. i wore this pair for the drama i just completed 《沸腾冰点》. it lasted right till the day i wrapped up before it fell apart..

speaking of clutter.. i like to keep my mind clutter free as well.. i like a kind of quiet where i can just feel comfortable with myself. i enjoy quiet rides.. where i just drive to and from work in silence.. no music.. nothing.. i guess it sounds like a weird preference.. but with a rather hectic and rushed schedule, i like to slow down my own thoughts and pace when i can.. it’s got a calming effect (for me at least)

having said all this.. i received an email from my manager.. and i got to hear of a piece of good news..
