it’s been a long time since i left an entry. i’ve been filming in studio the past 2-3 weeks. and on some good days, i get about 4-5 hours of rest. the past few days have been especially heavy, with emotional scenes peppered around my schedule. there was a day when i found myself crying from the first to the last scene. that was emotionally draining.
i figured that since my studio starts a little later today, i should just get down to blogging. because i’m not sure when i will be able to in the coming days.

“The Defining Moment” is almost midway through. i hope everyone likes it. one thing for sure, i was truly happy to be able to dance once more in a drama. for that brief 3 months, i actually acheieved my dancer’s physique again. these are some photos taken while i was filming my opening shots for the drama..

just thought i’d share some behind-the-scene photos during my Simply Her shoot. as well as 8 days shoot.

usually when i go for photo shoots. the pieces that i wear are usually too big, so the stylist would have to do a little “alteration” for me.

8 days shoot. this shoot went up to 2 plus in the morning. being partially soaked in cold water, with water splashing across our faces for effect, and wet hair, i came down with fever the next day. however, i have to say that this shoot, on a good normal day, wouldn’t have been any problem. but prior to this shoot, i averaged only about 2-3 hours of sleep the past few days. fong fan (8 days stylist) felt so bad about it.. but no matter what, the magazine cover turned out great. so it’s all good..

well, some of my friends said i looked different in the cover.. if it helps, the photo was flipped.. so i guess that was what made me look a little different..
talking about the Olympics.. i read an interview with Ian Thorpe in the papers some time back.. i feel that the sporting spirit is really something to emulate..
“you train for feeling dreadful and producing a good swim and you train for swimming perfectly and not having a great day” -Thorpe
how many of us, would push ourselves to our maximal prime when the situation or circumstance isn’t as ideal? how many of us can say for sure.. that when we’re having a bad day, we are still at our best potential?
another piece of news.. mediacorp has started a new website for “Little Nyonya” . you will be able to read more about the drama and see more photos.. and there is a blog written by me as well. though i can’t say i’ve been able to update it regularly.. but do take a look.. the editorial team will update it with photos and news..
