happy new year everyone!
it’s been a great start and i hope it is too for all of you. so should we start with counting “ang pow” money? or start with counting our blessings?

i’m thankful for so many things. though it’s just the start of the year, but i find so many things to be grateful for. after all, who ever said blessings are only valid counts for end of the year?

thank you all for being there for me. thank you for your messages. thank you for being my greatest buffer no matter the situation.

幸福是什么东西？
昨天出席《幸福万岁》首映
描述不同年龄的爱情观
最后。。
我想爱人或被爱也算是一种幸福吧
至少感受过体验过
有时候一对情侣在一起未必真正爱过
又有时候未必能够和真爱在一起
爱。。应该怎么说呢？
我只知道要去珍惜
别等到失去的那一天

happiness, can be a rather abstract subject. intangible. it can’t be pinned down with mere words. but it can definitely be felt. yet again, is it just a surface thing? or truly felt by the heart?

have you ever seen someone say “i’m happy” but not seeming the least bit like it? or what about someone who seems nonchalent about things around him or her, and when you talk to them find that they exude an inexplicable happy vibe?

well, happiness is.. (fill in the blanks as you wish)

答应过大家会上传在australia拍的照片
今天终于做到了
太多照片看得我头昏眼花
这次的photoshoot还蛮特别的
到外地取景，尝试不一样的造型
整个旅程虽赶但过得很愉快

finally! photos from the australia shoot! it’s been a long time and i apologize for that.. i personally love the two places that we went to – perth and kalbarri. mainly because it’s quiet and peaceful, with a slow pace of life.
sometimes it’s nice to be totally cut off from the mad rush
to slow down to hear your own thoughts
to reflect
or maybe, simply not think of anything.

it was scorching hot in the day, then freezing cold at night! thanks to the huge umbrellas provided and well, a huge skirt that was made specially for this shoot!

[Blog] amazing events

yesterday was pretty amazing. i was invited to two events, one in Singapore, one in JB. well, that’s not exactly the amazing part yet, it was meeting the fans and audiences once more, in my nyonya look, that was truly amazing. it never fails to touch me deeply, the support that is given and the warm response from everyone. thank you all so much for being there..

the first event was at Eu Yan Sang, both 向云姐 and myself were there, and it was a very enjoyable session. we got to sample birdsnest. i believe everyone really wish they could taste some of it

did you know.. when i was filming 《小娘惹》 and i was “dying” in the warehouse, i was fed real birdsnest by 大傻! well i guess that was the nice thing about that scene

i left straight for JB – Dangga City Mall. we were afraid that we’d be caught in a traffic jam, everyone was saying that the weekend traffic could be quite slow.. but on the contrary it was unexpectedly smooth. we arrived well ahead of time and had some down time to just relax a little before starting again.

there was a slight delay to the program and it was already past 10 at night. i hadn’t even started and as i was waiting in their office, i was wondering what the turnout would be like at that time. when i saw the crowd, all i can say is – i’m thankful, and i’m really glad to be there, really glad to have this chance to meet the audiences there in malaysia.

欧萱娘惹魅袭新山

以小娘惹造型出现，引来现场尖叫声四起。

（新山讯）“小娘惹”旋风席卷新山，“月娘”欧萱魅力无法挡！

刚在新传媒8频道热播完毕的《小娘惹》，在新加坡取得15年来收视率最高的佳绩，连南马新山都陷入追看热潮；新传媒七公主之一的欧萱人气红不让，所到之处，都有不少剧迷争相目睹她的风采。

欧萱应金海湾广场之邀，大前晚莅临新山金海广场，为喜爱她的剧迷举行一场签名会，回馈剧迷对她的支持。

现场除了阿叔阿嫂级的剧迷，也有不少年轻人以及小朋友，全场高分贝大喊欧萱名字，效果震耳欲聋。

令人引颈期盼的欧萱，终于以一身娘惹服饰出场，展现“月娘”的温柔和亲切笑容，引来现场尖叫声不断，把会场气氛带入另一个高潮。

对于南马观众给予的支持和肯定，欧萱表示很开心，也没想到会有如此大的反应，她确实被南马影迷的热情给感动。

自称单身想找幽默男

现场人潮挤挤，许多影迷争相目睹七公主之首的欧萱风采。

与主持人交流后，随即展开签名会，剧迷都很有秩序地手持照片，排队等候上台签名，而凡是在美罗百货购物满100令吉以上，即可获得欧萱《小娘惹》造型照片一张，更可上台签名，与欧萱近距离接触；欧萱也在台上热情与影迷握手问候。

欧萱接受主持人访问时，指这是她第一次接演怀旧剧，对她是一种新尝试；她在剧中必须饰演两个角色，挑战很大，因为其中一个角色“菊香”是个哑巴，为了揣摩好角色，她必须学习手语，用眼神和动作去替代台词，对她的演艺事业来说是一项新突破。

她透露，在《小娘惹》开拍前曾去上过娘惹菜烹饪课，虽然偶尔也会下厨小露两手，却觉得娘惹菜在准备材料过程及香料的搭配上，需要花很大的心思和耐心，她自认不比“菊香”和“月娘”那么会煮。

询及剧中无法跟最爱的人在一起，现实生活中是否也已找到最爱的那个人？欧萱指目前还无对象，不过希望未来的另一半脚踏实地，是个有幽默感的男生。

瞄准红星视后宝座

欧萱清丽脱俗的娘惹造型，让影迷为之疯狂。欧萱希望得红星大奖最佳女主角！

《小娘惹》剧集收视率火红，人人都在谈论娘惹，令剧中演员成为本届红星大奖的大热门，欧萱腼腆笑着说会对“最佳女主角”抱持着希望，惟看到《小娘惹》有如此热烈的回响，对她来说已经是一种欣慰。

《小娘惹》这部剧集也是她第4次和戚玉武合作，除了更认识彼此之外，也更加了解彼此的演艺方式。

获得签名的民众还可跟“月娘”欧萱握手，与偶像作近距离接触。
渐渐绽放阿姐光芒的公主欧萱坦言，目前她最希望挑战的角色是人格复杂、内心戏大的人物，让她可以经历各种人物的内心世界，更加可以丰富她的演艺生涯。

小妹妹也无法抵挡欧萱公主的魅力，上台索取签名，逗得欧萱乐开怀。
询及新传媒阿姐郑惠玉在七公主里面点名最看好她，她则谦虚表示高兴，不过最重要的是把角色演好，让所饰演的角色能感动观众，对她就是很大的鼓励。

她也希望有朝一日可以登上大银幕，到海外拍更多的剧集。

小娘惹热潮延烧 大批影迷热捧欧萱向云

新传媒新闻报道，《小娘惹》热潮持续延烧，戏中两位主要演员欧萱和向云，星期六傍晚来到了中巴鲁广场的一家中药行，再次吸引大批影迷。

欧萱、向云凭着在《小娘惹》剧中的精湛演技，博得了不少观众的掌声和喝彩。来到本地这家著名的中药行，两人更是吸引不少人群，商店外更被挤得水泄不通，连异族同胞也前来凑热闹。

戏中，欧萱饰演的角色月娘，经营的是燕窝生意。戏外，欧萱对吃燕窝也颇有研究。

欧萱说，“早上还没吃早餐之前，空着肚子吃最有效，还是晚上睡觉之前。”

一小时亮相时间里，两位艺人与公众签名合照、共玩游戏。

观众如果对这部剧还意犹未尽，就别忘了锁定即将在1月26日，傍晚7点通过8频道播出的一小时特别清谈节目《小娘惹大团圆》。
