首长：带动旅业・欢迎剧组到甲取景拍摄

（马六甲）首席部长拿督斯里莫哈末阿里对于新传媒在板底街取景拍摄电视剧表示欢迎。

有助吸引游客观光

他认为，随着电视剧的播出，能够吸引更多游客到马六甲亲眼目睹电视剧里的建筑物，进一步带动本地旅游业。

他对于剧组选择到马六甲实地取景，而不是在电影棚里利用背景道具感到高兴，同时，相信这能够吸引更多的新加坡游客到马六甲观光。

首长是周一（9月28日）晚上与正在马六甲拍制电视连续剧《当我们同在一起》的新传媒制作队伍共进晚餐及交流后，在新闻发布会上如是表示。

《当》片制作队伍与风靡一度的《小娘惹》属于同个团队，因此，莫哈末阿里感谢剧组再次到马六甲取景。

《小娘惹》女主角欧萱在会上代表赠送连续剧影音光盘给首长，新传媒华文戏剧制作部高档监制谢敏洋，演员郑各评、洪慧芳、陈丽贞等也出席交流。

等待沙鲁汗前来取景

莫哈末阿里指出，州政府仍在等待宝莱坞巨星拿督沙鲁汗前来甲州取景拍戏。

他说，沙鲁汗较早前曾透露，有意制作一部贺岁片，部份片段将在甲州取景，州政府仍在等待进一步消息。

谢敏洋：若符合剧种 新传媒将再来拍摄

此外，谢敏洋指出，马六甲离新加坡不远，制作也较容易，因此如果符合剧种及剧情背景，新传媒会继续在马六甲取景。

她说，他们在六七月便来马六甲、怡保及槟城看景，最后觉得马六甲老街区背景没有高楼大厦，很有60年代街景的味道，最适合作为拍摄地点。

她指出，拍摄工作开始后，市民的热情及商家的配合，使整个制作过程相当顺利。

为了拍戏 来回奔跑

其实我蛮喜欢出国拍戏
不管到世界的任何一个角落
我相信每一次的经验会带来不一样的收获
遇到的人 碰到的事件 看到的景色
都是值得珍惜的

再次回到马六甲
一个熟悉的地方
想起一年前在那儿取景拍《小娘惹》
原来在异国也能留下美好回忆
这次应该也不例外

while i was reading this book, someone asked me, “what is this you’re reading? why are you reading a book like this?” i ponder upon the question and i wonder why this question was asked in the first place.. is this book too easy a read? a child’s tale that adults can’t read? or did that someone think it’s too childish?

i don’t limit myself on the genre of books that i read, but of course i have my preferences. “The Tale of Despereaux” is good book of imagination coupled with sound moral values, and truth be told, i like it.

if you can suspend disbelief and allow yourself to enter a world of magic and explore the mysteries of another life, then you’ll enjoy this. i always feel that paulo coelho’s writing has that magical touch to it. and yes, i do like that bit of magic in books..

小娘惹麦可伴中秋・糖片彩印冰皮月饼受欢迎

（馬六甲）這個中秋節不會寂寞，因為有“小娘惹”，甚至麥可積遜陪大家過中秋！

甲市义之屋西果店配合中秋节来临，推出多款糖片彩印冰皮月饼，除了风靡南马及新加坡的《小娘惹》演员与剧照外，还有已故全球红歌星麦可积逊（Michael Jackson），让歌迷与年轻人在中秋月圆之时思故人。

这间店东主叶世义受询时表示，采用明星照片印在月饼饼皮上，主要是吸引年轻人品尝月饼。

“好像麦可积逊，是永远不朽的传奇，以其演唱会的表情、照片印在月饼上，可怀念他的风采。”

卡通人物吸引小孩除了“明星脸”，义之屋的糖片彩印冰皮月饼还有各当红卡通人物的设计，包括了小叮当、迪斯尼乐园系列、白雪公主、咸蛋超人、BEN 10、变形金刚、蜘蛛侠等等，肯定会令小朋友爱不释手。

观众当监制　改造七公主

　　七公主角色没突破观众都看腻？网友改造七公主，把“乖乖女”欧萱变成黑社会女老大、形象正直的瑞恩演风骚女、精明女郎白薇秀演笨女人！

　　在“八卦电视台”博客中，新传媒高层给七公主总结“第三季成绩”，并列出她们入行以来的“成绩单”，吸引网友热烈讨论，意见分为几派。

　　有些网友认为，七公主“再循环”轮流当花旦，观众重复看同一批演员演戏，眼睛都疲乏。也有网友针对七公主的“成绩单”，建议电视台把没有产量的公主撤换，让郭舒贤、郭惠雯和曾诗梅替补。

　　另外，也有看戏越来越精而且越来越有要求的网友，当起“公民监制”和“公民导演”，突发奇想，为七公主“量身定做”有突破性的角色。

　　综合他们的意见，他们希望看到七公主在诠释的角色中能有360度的大转变。这些“公民监制”相当称职，他们还点出各公主被定型的形象，然后提出相关的突破爆点。

　　新传媒：突破要看时机
　　观众希望七公主突破，新传媒高层陈国明认为，突破也要看时机。

　　他以欧萱举例说明。欧萱入行后，因角色大多任性傲慢、较不讨好，所以影响她的人气，让她经历了一段浮沉的低潮期。但在《小娘惹》取得空前的热烈回响后，欧萱的人气大大回弹，她不只成功翻身，还让观众忘了之前对她的负面印象。

　　陈国明认为，如果欧萱急于在《小娘惹》之后就求突破，未必是好事。因为，让喜欢月娘（欧萱在《小》中角色）的观众马上抽身看她演坏人，他们未必能接受。他说：“我个人认为，欧萱后来接了《当我们同在一起》，角色虽然有月娘的性质，但她却利用了《小》提升的气势，巩固自己的人气。如果当初马上演突破的角色，反而会摧毁她。”

　　除了时机，他认为，公主也要有意愿，才能寻求突破。如，早前谢宛谕就因为觉得角色负面所以推掉《当》的演出。

　　陈国明又举例：“比如圈中有传瑞恩抗拒一些角色，若是真的，那我觉得她是局限自己的发展空间。如果让她来诠释反派或风骚女的角色，肯定会一鸣惊人。”

　　‘公民监制’的意见
　　欧萱：除掉“乖乖女”标签 突破角色：反派、黑社会、30年代歌女

　　瑞恩：摘下冷艳面具 突破角色：风骚女、古代侠女、反派、嗜毒者

　　白薇秀：不要精明一世 突破角色：笨女人、贪慕虚荣的角色，如郑惠玉的经典角色“Bobo”

　　陈靓瑄：脱下邻家女孩外衣 突破角色：挑战残疾角色、复仇女鬼，如日本恐怖片“贞子”的角色

　　刘芷绚：甜姐儿需震撼性角色 突破角色：性感风骚女郎、陪酒女郎、苦命媳妇、败犬

　　姚懿珊：小妹妹该长大了 突破角色：傻大姐、类似香港胡杏儿的路线

　　谢宛谕：小精灵需要人性化 角色：类似《命中注定我爱你》的“便利贴女孩”

敢敢改换7公主 Changing the 7 Princesses

If you are given a chance to cast the 7 Princesses in a drama, how will you do it? Do you want to ‘play-safe’ or take a huge amount of risk and give them a revolutionary role?

It is really a tough decision when it comes to casting. It is not like you can throw any role to the Princess. No, you can’t. Not all Princesses can handle changes. Many factors will have to be taken into consideration. Some Princesses may not be ready to switch between a goodie role and a baddie one. Or the professional panel may not think they are ready or viewers are ready. Or the Princesses themselves just may not be mentally prepared to change. It can be detrimental to the career of a particular Princess or your product if you ’revolutionarise’ her too fast without letting her ‘evolve’…

Looking at how 刘芷绚 Jesseca played her role in ‘Baby Bonus 添丁发财’ (debuts on Ch 8 on 30 Sept at 9pm) and I just feel this is one actress who can really act. But in my opinion, her roles tend to fit into a similar mould. She will need something more than just that slightly challenging role in ‘Romantic Delicacies 美食厨师男’ (now on Ch 8 at 7pm) to leave a stronger impression. Any suggestion of a role you feel Jesseca can play up her potential?

I see some sort of an evolution in the roles 欧萱 Jeanette has played. She left a strong impression when she first started out as the dim-witted 晶晶 in Holland V. Then, there was this period of time where she was stuck in playing those roles that made you dislike her (no wonder she lost her ‘Top 10 Most Popular’ then…). It was a period she described as feeling very ’lost’ but it was also the time she honned her skills before her next big break. ’小娘惹 The Little Nyonya’ changed her fate. Jeanette Aw then landed herself another meaty role in ‘Together 当我们同在一起’ this year. Next, she will become the ‘Funneral Director’ in ‘New Beginnings 红白囍事’ – a role dealing with the sensitive side of ‘life and death’. What role do you hope to see Jeanette in next? Drastic change? Or subtle change?

[Blog] definitions

together:
with or near to another person or people;
so as to touch, combine, or be united;
regarded as a whole.

what does it mean to be “together”? how would you define this word in your own way? i like the way it sounds, and the whole romantic (in my opinion) idea behind it.

just the other day while filming, i saw an old couple holding hands, crossing the road. i reckon they should be around their 80s or so. it warms my heart each time i see an image as such.. everlasting love.

i once spoke to an elderly woman (whilst trying to find out more about the 60s period), she made this comment: while women of those times didn’t get to marry the man of their dreams, their marriage lasted and love blossomed, whereas the so called “true love” of today can’t even stand the test of time.

i agree. have times changed? or have we changed?
definitions change.
be it “love”, be it “together”, be it “forever”.
but one thing remains a constant to me.. my belief in “happily-ever-after”.
i believe i will find the person who will still hold my hand when i’m old and bent over.
that to me, will be happiness.
